Doncaster (UK) based Circle Of Origin have recently unveiled their engaging new single, 'Watching The Walls'. Released on 17th April 2026, the track precedes the official launch their sophomore EP 'Gallows' landing this June.
'Watching The Walls' hits hard with its gripping metal-edged riffs, pulsing rhythms, tension building dynamics and raw intensity. Producing a colossal sound that fuses together modern metal and classic rock, is what the British unit deliver relentlessly with finesse. Their latest single and opening EP track, explores the introspective theme of emotional struggle. Living a tainted life, straining to see what's truly real as darkness consumes the inner mind and hated becomes all consuming. Adding another dimension to their creative output, founding members Danny Porter (Vocals), Andy Wordsworth (Guitar), Rick Williamson (Guitar) and Scott Emery (Drums) are now joined by John Heaver (Bass).

Following the positive reception of their 2025 debut EP 'Guilty ‘til Proven Innocent', Circle Of Origin returned to Axis Recording Studios (UK) to re-unite with producer Matt Elliss. The collection of new material that shapes their 5 track 'Gallows' EP, further amplifies their collaborative ingenuity and sonic evolution as a band. This EP delves deep into the band's ethos of cross-genre melding - weaving together their melodically-driven tapestry of alternative metal allurement, encaged with lavish doses of stadium rock splendour. Embracing influences that range from Stone Sour and Foo Fighters to Shinedown and Aerosmith, Circle Of Origin pull listeners in to a captivating journey of fiery riffs, mosh-pit rousing song structures, dual guitar wizardry and vocal performances that ooze emotive bite and potency.
'Gallows' EP will be available on all major digital platforms from 12th June 2026.

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO

Circle Of Origin is a hard-hitting British rock/metal band from Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. The group blends classic hard rock influences with a modern metal edge, combining melodic twin-guitar work, aggressive riffs, powerful rhythms, and emotionally driven vocals. Their sound has drawn comparisons to bands ranging from Aerosmith and Foo Fighters to heavier modern acts such as Shinedown and Stone Sour.
The band consists of Danny Porter (vocals/bass), Andy Wordsworth (guitar), Rick Williamson (guitar), and Scott Emery (drums). Featuring dual guitars and strong melodic arrangements backed by a thunderous rhythm section, Circle Of Origin quickly built a reputation for energetic and emotionally charged songs with a raw, authentic atmosphere.
Circle Of Origin introduced themselves to the UK metal scene with their debut EP Guilty ’Til Proven Innocent, which showcased the band’s dynamic songwriting and modern heavy sound. Songs such as “Time Waits For No One” helped establish the group as an emerging force in the British underground metal scene.
In 2026, the band continued building momentum with the EP Gallows, further expanding their darker and heavier direction while maintaining their strong melodic identity.
