DREAM THEATER Metropolis pt 1: Scenes From A Memory

The albums that follwed after 'Awake' were rather disappointing for me personally, seeing Dream Theater movin further and further away from the magic formula of the first three albums and 'Images And Words' in particular. Non of them were never close to beeing poor, just different and not what I wanted to hear from this excellent band. Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory is the title of their latest work, an epic concept album introducing Jordan Rudess on keyboards and more importing seeing Dream Theater back on track again with another masterpiece. The album consist of 12 premium quality tracks with 'Scene Eight: The Spirit Carries On' as its magnum opus. Despite its complexity Metropolis pt. 2 is an extremely melodic an epic album that shoud be accessible to listenere outside the progressive metal genre as well. Enough said, next to Images And Word this is Dream Theater's finest work to date.
