OUR AIM:

Arcticmetal.no is a Norwegian metal webzine that has been online since 1999, from 1999 to December 2011 the site was named The Streets Metal WebZine, but from December 2011 the name has been changed to ArcticMetal.no. Our work is based on an idealistic foundation and we have no commersial purposes. Our aim is to bring you a realistic picture of what is going on in the world of metal, with speicial focus on the underground. This we shall achieve by bringing you uppdated news, demo-, promo-, dvd- live reviews and interviews with both well known and upcomming artists. Since there's thousands of English metal webzines out there, we have chosen to keep this site mostly in Norwegian. If we can give those hard working metal bands out there a little help on their way to fortune and fame - well, then our goal is reached!

REVIEWS:

We´re receiving huge amounts of promos for reviews, it impossible to review everything but we try to cover as many as possible of theese promos within reasonable time after receipt. We do accept promos both as physical CD´s and as electronic press kits. We only review promos related to hard rock and metal including all sub genres.

INTERVIEWS:

We're more than happy do interviews with both well known as well as upcomming bands and artists, but we appreciate to receive a promo or a demo ahead of the interview. We can do both face-to-face interviews, telephoneinterviews and e-mail interviews - whatever suits the purpose best. Don't hesitate contacting us for an appointment.

TIPS AND WISHES:

If you have tips, wishes or whatever for us, please don't hesitate to contact us. Tips about actual news and stuff, new exciting bands or particular subjects that deserves to be trown light at - It's all interesting for us. Feedback about what is good and what is not so good about Arcticmetal.no is also appreciated. That way you can contribute to making our site even better in the future.
