Here’s the bands official statement; “Trying To Break Me is one of our oldest songs. It was one of our first demo recordings and is a standard part of our live set. In this song you’ll find everything you need to know about Dead Frog. Musically, it’s our essence and now it’s gonna open our debut album and it has this awesome lyrics video which will only help it establish itself as a Dead Frog classic in the time to come. Sometimes the line between loving and hurting someone is blurred. Sometimes breaking and loving someone are the same thing and are coming from the same place. Because of this contradiction, it’s difficult to understand what’s going on and what the other person wants from us. No one really prepares us for this and we have to deal with it on our own when it’s already too late. So in this song we are trying to deal with that feeling of being torn between someone’s love and anger. We ask questions to helps us deal with someone else’s demons. Through this song we are looking for a solution to a situation where no one wins.”
