Dream Theater's song "The Enemy Inside," from Dream Theater, and Killswitch Engage's song "In Due Time," from Disarm the Descent, were both nominated for Best Metal Performance for the 2014 Grammy Awards. This is the second nomination for each band—Killswitch Engage was first nominated for the song "The End of Heartache" at the 2005 awards, while Dream Theater was nominated for the song "On the Backs of Angels" at the 2012 awards.
