Bordeaux, France based masters of technical death metal EXOCRINE have premiered their drum play-through video for “Maelstrom” today! The bands new album “Maelstrom” will be released on June 26th via Unique Leader Records.

 

 

Theo, drummer of Exocrine commented, “I’m proud to present this drum play-through for our new song ‘Maelstrom’!

EXOCRINE is a modern progressive technical death metal band from Bordeaux, France, originally formed in 2013 by Sylvain O.P.

 

Furrowing cleverly among the giants of the genre like Necrophagist, The Faceless, Obscura, Beyond Creation, Gorod even through Cynic, these french guys deliver their own way of a brutal and technical music while allowing most typical passages of prog highlighted by the support of synth atmospheres.

 

Their first album "Unreal Existense", out in 2015 on Great Dane Records, is a compendium of astonishment and assured voyage in paradoxal world thanks to the skillful composition. EXOCRINE lead the ship with modernism and maturity despite a band as this young.

 

Their sophomore album "Ascension", out in 2017, also on Great Dane Records, is a 40 minutes piece of sharp songwriting and eviscerating technicality. Supported by a massive wall of drums and bass, the guitars are the driving force in the machinery with tight, intricate, intense riffing and superb harmonies.

 

For their third release, they signed on the perfect record label to promote their new beast "Molten Giant".

 

Unique Leader Records offered them to join their awesome roster for a worldwide release.

 

"Molten Giant" is a wink at Kaiju movies. This concept album about a nuclear war between a gigantic lava monster and some surviving human beings is EXOCRINE music at its finest with a hell of production!

 

This is a massive step up for the band in just about every way.

 

Radiating guitar playing, massive bass sound, nuclear blast beats, astounding melodies, demonic synth waves, constantly varying tempos, odd time signatures, and consistent growled vocals are making this album a devastating H-bomb!
