The band was born in August 2002, after the end of a project involving XeS (voice) and Prince Of Tears (guitar) called Hell Burn.
With new entries such as Deimos (drums) and Phobos (bass), they change moniker to the actual Infernal Angels and the band started to write songs and playing live.
In October 2002 they release their first demo "Absum Lucem” and it got a lot of very good reviews. After this first release, the band continued the writing process so, in January 2003, they entered in their studio recording "Vigilia Secunda" which saw the light on May 2003.
In August 2004, the band entered "Tsa Studio" and finally recorded the first full-length called ”Shining Evil Light”, in the meantime they released another promo record called “Dominus Silentii” with 4 tracks out of they’re next album.
In 2006 "Officina Rock Records" released the first official album of the band. The album got very good reviews and Infernal Angels played important gigs like Agglutination, Metal Disorder, Haliaetaum Open Air, with Gamma Ray, Tankard, Nefarium, Dark Lunacy and more. After some lineup changes, in 2008 Managarmr (ex guitarist of the cult band Disjecta), Beast (bassist of Morkal) and Asmodeus Draco Dux (ex drummer of Absentia Lunae and Melancolia Estatica) joined Infernal Angels and started composing new material.
In 2009 they signed a deal with the Italian label "My Kingdom Music" releasing the second album called "Midwinter Blood" scheduled for the end of September 2009. Meanwhile in April 2009 Infernal Angels played with Impaled Nazarene and they get confirmed for different Italian gigs taking part at "The Black Lake III" with Behexen, Satanic Warmaster, Inferno and more.
In 2014, after years of silence, the project gave birth to a new full-lenght changing route to a new Black/Death Metal sound: Pestilentia.
Released by SG Records, it collected great feedbacks.
Afterwards, the line up changed again, Managarmr and MiD left the band being replaced by Gradig and Apyschos on guitars (at the time, they were members of "Boa", another project of the singer XeS), Ulag on bass and Venders on drums. After many gigs for "Pestilentia's" promotions, Gradig and Ulag left the band. Nekroshadow (Guitar) and Hagen (Bass) entered as new members of the project.
This very solid line up started immediately writing new songs for the new album called "Ars Goetia", working again with "My Kingdom Music" label. The full were released on January 2017, they preserve the "Black/Death" sound of Pestilentia adding some new "Melodic" stuff, also finding great reviews too. They released a split too with Ad Noctem Funeriis and Catechon. re-recording two very old songs and a "Boa's" cover.
After the album came out Venders left the band and "Bestia" entered as a session drummer. The band played in different important gigs like "Rites of The Black Mass 2017" in Romania. Recently Hagen left the band too, and he has been replaced with Sauzer as a bass session player with which the band played at "Dark Winter Meeting 2018" in Malta.
