Deformeathing Production proudly announce the new album of Poland's Death/Black Metallers NEOLITH, entitled "Inbir", scheduled for September 12th 2026 on LP, CD and digital formats.
Nearly seven years after the release of "I Am the Way", NEOLITH return with their sixth full-length. It is the band's most ambitious, complex, and polished work to date, representing a clear step forward in both compositional and sonic terms.
The title "Inbir" meaning "war" in the ancient Sumerian language, defines the album's thematic direction. The material explores universal themes related to power, mystery, spirituality, and the fate of man. Musically, NEOLITH remain true to their roots, which aptly reflects the nature of this album - intense, dark, and consciously rooted in the aesthetics of old-school death/black metal.
The album's sound is the responsibility of the band and Haldor Grunberg, who, through his Satanic Audio studio, has crafted a powerful, cohesive, and powerful production. The graphic design was created by the renowned Polish artist Artur Szolc.
A lyric video for the title track has been premiered, chek it below:
Vocalist Levi comments: "'Inbir' is probably the most direct and brutal song on the new album that's why it opens the album and announces it as the first single. It's a manifesto for the band: no calculations, no compromises, and no following the trends of the contemporary metal scene. We wanted to create material that is aggressive, honest, and full of energy. After years of playing, we still feel the hunger and joy of creating, and 'Inbir' is the best proof that NEOLITH can still attack with full force."

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO

Neolith is a Polish extreme metal band formed in 1991 in Lesko, later relocating to Krosno in the Podkarpackie region of Poland. The band originally emerged from the early ’90s doom/death metal underground, heavily inspired by dark and atmospheric European death metal, before gradually evolving into a far more aggressive and technical blend of death and black metal.
During their early years, Neolith built a strong underground reputation through several demo releases, eventually gaining wider recognition with their debut full-length album Igne Natura Renovabitur Integra in 1998. The album was praised in the Polish metal scene for its oppressive atmosphere, occult themes, and mature songwriting, and is still regarded by many fans as one of the notable underground Polish metal releases of the late 1990s.
As the years progressed, the band moved away from their slower doom/death roots and embraced a harsher and more technical sound. Releases such as Immortal (2004) and Individual Infernal Idimmu (2010) showcased a darker and more brutal direction filled with blackened death metal riffs, blast beats, and anti-religious lyrical themes. Their music became increasingly complex while still maintaining a grim and atmospheric identity.
Neolith has shared stages with several well-known extreme metal acts including Behemoth, Devilyn, and Lux Occulta, while also appearing at festivals and touring across parts of Europe and the former Soviet territories. Over the decades, the group has gone through numerous lineup changes, but vocalist Grzegorz “Levi” Łukowski has remained the central figure and driving force behind the band.
Today, Neolith continues to be active within the underground extreme metal scene, combining elements of blackened death metal, occult atmospheres, and old-school extremity while remaining true to the dark spirit that has defined the band since the early 1990s.
