NINTH CIRCLE has released a new lyric video for the song "Forever More". That song is on the new album "Echo Black", which was released on June 26th, 2020 on CD via PURE UNDERGOUND RECORDS. The album is also available as Download.

Echo Black is the fourth full-length release from the Los Angeles melodic metal band, Ninth Circle. The much-anticipated follow up to 2014’s Legions of the Brave is guaranteed to deliver world-class ear-splitting melodic metal to the masses. Ninth Circle has stepped up their game with Echo Black while keeping that authentic Ninth Circle sound that fans around the world have come to expect.

 

Main songwriters, Dennis Brown and Frank Forray deliver classic Ninth Circle sounding songs such as, “Echo Black”, “Riding the Storm”, “Forever More”, “Dance of Swords”, and “Prelude to Glory”. These songs keep the melodic metal flame of Ninth Circle alive and burning bright. Fans will not be disappointed with the power and strength of this collection of new songs.

 

Dennis and Frank also display their songwriting strength and depth with the moody and dark “Shadow of Giants” which is a soon to be Ninth Circle classic. They also flex their songwriting muscles with songs “Then & There” and “Tokyo Nights”. These two songs are instant crowd-pleasing singalongs that rival anything that would have been on MTV in the 80s.

 

As a special surprise, Ninth Circle recorded the classic Riot song, “Warrior”. This is the first recorded song where Dennis sings a duet with Riot V’s Todd Michael Hall and trades guitar solos with Riot V’s Mike Flyntz. Warrior is dedicated to untimely and unexpected death of Riot’s original rhythm guitarist and friend of the band, Lou Kouvaris, who passed away as a result of COVID-19.

 

Echo Black was recorded with the same lineup as Legions of the Brave with Dennis Brown on vocals and lead guitar, Frank Forray on bass and Dave Davis on drums, and was produced by Jeff Prentice. There’s no doubt Echo Black keeps that classic Ninth Circle sound while expanding into new sounds and territory.

 

Shortly after the recording of Echo Black, drummer Dave Davis announced his retirement from music. Ninth Circle has since welcomed aboard monster drummer Richie “Captain Black” Brooks to keep the Ninth Circle flag flying high and proud.

 

Echo Black is the next evolution in the melodic metal sound that Ninth Circle has come to re-define and proudly defend.
