While The Descent was a more than satisfying debut of blackened death metal, it is totally overshadowed by the monolithic power of Fury And Malevolence. This album is staggering in its dark grandeur, a terrifying whirlwind of wickedness that dissects with cruel precision then bludgeons with overwhelming brute force. Once ‘Imhullu’ has opened the gates to hell there is nowhere to hide from the titanic brutality of tracks like ‘The Abortuary’ and ‘With Fire And Malevolence’. Oath Of Damnation have captured the perfect hellish blend of insidious black metal atmosphere and monstrous death metal fire power. The wild guitars of Nekromancer, the uncontrollable rage of Constantinos’ drumming, the shroud of shadows conjured by Haemorrh’s keys and the bestial bass and imperious vocals of Doomsayer...together they are unstoppable.

Oath Of Damnation is signed to Los Angeles based label - Gore House Productions.

 

Formed in 2010, Oath of Damnation are a four piece outfit hailing from Adelaide, South Australia. At times symphonic, at times progressive, Oath of Damnation deliver a high velocity battering ram of dark Death and Black Metal. Responsible for this punishment is the seven string savagery of Necromancer (Shadow Realm), the low end bass tremors and vocal lashings of Doomsayer (Shadow Realm, Beyond Mortal Dreams). the skin flaying drum beatings of Constantinos (Shadow Realm), and the dark keys of Haemorrh (In The Burial, Juggermath).

 

Oath Of Damnation has been steadily building a following through their many live onslaughts and is currently working on the follow up to 2014's "The Descent" (Available on CD & digital download via Bandcamp).
The new album will be called ‘Fury and Malevolence’ - Due for release early 2020.
