Colombian Death Metal masters The Scum have released a lyric video for "No Forgiveness," the second single from the band's forthcoming Dead Eyes EP. This time, the band from Manizales surprises us with a fast and ruthless song that recalls the sounds of pioneers of old school death metal, such as Benediction, Grave, Unleashed, Dismember, and Entombed.

The video was edited by Francisco Henao and Attia Studios in Manizales. The song has a first class production job with the participation of Tomás Skogsberg doing the Mix at Sunlight Studios (Dismember, Carnage, Necrophobic, Grave, Entombed) in Sweden, and mastered by the renowned engineer Andy Classen (Holy Moses, Asphyx, Belphegor, Krisiun, Destruction) at Stage One Studio in Germany.
Dead Eyes will be released May 1 via Wild Noise Productions. The EP was produced in Sunlight Studios by Tomas Skolberg and mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio.
Last month the band released the official video for the title track, which features none other than Dave Ingram of the mighty Benediction. An impressive work directed by Juan Diego Escobar Alzate and Afasia Films, the video, premiered by Slam Worldwide has already 8.000 views on YouTube. Check it out below:

THE SCUM is a band formed in the city of Manizales, in mid-2013 Santiago De Los Ríos summons several friends to this project and give shape to the musical ideas that were in that moment, compose the first songs and begin practices using a programmed drums, for the year 2014 enters the band as drummer Mauricio Aristizabal, renowned musician of the city, for his trajectory in different bands, after months of trials it is decided to record the first musical production which is performed in Sound Blast Studios in the Armenia city, having in the mixing and mastering to Mr. Mauricio Gallón musician of this city and founder of the band Mindly Rotten..
THE SCUM consolidates a sound based on the musical tastes of its members and fit within the genre Death Metal and presenting an old school sound, characterized by aggressive riffs, fast drums, blunt and voices that give all the strength and characteristic sound of Death Metal. Self-Destructive Race, EP with 5 tracks see the light in the month of March of 2015, released under the record label Brutalized Records.
The year 2015 passes with the participation in several concerts in different cities like Bogotá, Tunja, Ibagué, Pereira and Manizales, the year 2016 begins with the participation in Festival Congregation Fest 8 realized in the city of Bogota and presentations in the festivals, Villarock , Open Mind Fest II and Manizales Grita Rock. In his short career THE SCUM accumulates more than 15 live presentations in which he has shared platform with important national and international bands.
The year 2017 ends with the recording of their first album which was recorded in the city of Manizales and for 2018 it comes to light in the month of August, work mixed and mastered in Sweden at Sunligth Studios owned by renowned producer Tomas Skogsberg and in Wing Studios respectively, it comes out under the HateWorks label.
In 2019 the band makes adjustments to launch an EP with two songs that same year digitally and also go into studio to record their third musical work.
