ARTLANTICA Across The Seven Seas

Throughout the years there has been several so called super groups with line-up's including high profiled members, but to be honest there's not many of those I've found very interesting. As you migh have figured out already Artlantica is another band sorting in the super group category, featuring well known names such as John West, Roger Staffelbach and John Macaluso as well as guest appearances from Steve DiGiorgio and Chris Caffery. Fans of Artension will find a few of those names familiar, and then it comes as no surprise that this is about neo classical metal with obvious referenses to Artension when it comes to song material as well. The fact that 'Across the seven seas' consists of a bunch of really strong songs combined with the musical abilities of each member and of course the amazing voice of John West, makes it one of the best super group albums I've heard in a long time. Fans of neo classical metal/power metal should definitely check out this one.
