BEYOND CREATION The Aura

'The Aura', debut album of Canadian technical death metallers Beyond Creation, was originally released in 2011 but has now been re-released by Season Of Mist. The band was founded in Montreal, Canada in 2005 and has only released one demo prior to 'The Aura'. What about the music then? Well, as already stated this is thechnical death metal and it's pretty amazing stuff. The technical skills of the individual band members can really take your breath away, but what actually impresses me more is their ability to create strong melodies and songs within the frame of technical virtousity. Beyond Creation have probably gained inspiraton from bands like Obscura and Necrophagist among others, and they definitely deserves to be named alongside such great names within this genre. 'The Aura' is some kind of a hidden treasure and a true technical death metal masterpiece.
