DESECRATE THE FAITH Unholy Infestation

Heading from Houston, Texas Desecrate The Faith are back with their second full lentght album entitled 'Unholy Infestation' to follow up their 2014 debut 'Disfigured Arrangement'. We're talking brutal death metal the American way, no bullshit - straight forwad death metal in other words. Allthough it's full speed ahead more or less all the way there are quite a few interesting riffs and themes to be found on this album, but with that said a bit more variation tempo-vice wouldn't hurt. The same thing goes for the vocals which I find a bit one-dimensional spitting out gutteral phrases like a machine gun. Fans of bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Benighthed and their likes will probably find this interesting. 'Unholy Infestation' is a good album, no doubt about that, but I feel it lacks just a touch of variation and x-factor to really stand out of the masses.
