HORRENDOUS 'Anareta'

Heading from the US, East Coast death metal trio Horrendous are now set to release their third studio album entitled 'Anareta'. The band is part of the New Wave of Old-School Death Metal movement and their previous album, 'Ecdysis', was critically acclaimed and by many considered among last years best releases within the genre. 'Anareta' offers eight new tracks of old-school death metal, obviously inspired by the great names from the US death metal scene in the early nineties. Most of the material is mid-tempo with groovy heavy riffs and some really nice guitar harmony lines, but there are also parts where the tempo is turnen up a bit. All eight tracks are of solid quality, wrapped into an organic an slightly retro production just the way this kind of music demands. If you're into old school death metal you simply don't wanna miss out on 'Anareta'.
