ATLAS PAIN album2019

Tales Of A Pathfinder’ is the second full length album of the Italian Epic-Pagan Metal band Atlas Pain. After the stunning acceptance from both critics and fans of the previous ‘What The Oak Left’, the band is now ready to push you into a wonderful unique experience.

As the result of efforts lasted two years, the concept around ‘Tales Of A Pathfinder’ finds its foundation on an epic steampunk fairy tale, as the listener will be driven into a journey at the end of the world, making him discover unknown lands and hidden cultures.

1899, London. Laughs and noises from a freak show make space for the great announcement, aiming to start the most difficult expedition that the man have ever experienced.

Each song, starting from ‘The Coldest Year’, the glorious announcement, is a specific stop that leads us to discover ancient tales and different cultures, making us appreciate all the different people around the planet.

The journey finds its end with the disclosure of a brand new world, full of rising hopes, in a reality oppressed by machines and steam for a long time.

Tales Of A Pathfinder’ has been recorded, mixed and mastered by Fabrizio Romani, with additional recordings by Davide Tavecchia. Cover artwork and booklet design have been handled by Jan Yrlund (Korpiklaani, Manowar, Apocalyptica).

{tab=BIOGRAPHY}

Is there any bond between film score music and heavy metal?

Atlas Pain is an italian Epic-Pagan Metal band that combine the epicness of cinematic music with
the speed and power of the sacred pagan metal.

The orchestrations take a fundamental role in their compositions, showing to the world how hard
and beautiful the task to join these two such different worlds is.

HISTORY:
The band was born on May 2013 from Samuele Faulisi's mind, with the help of Fabrizio Tartarini,
Riccardo Floridia and Louie Raphael.

In the beginning of 2014 Atlas Pain released a demo showing the real potential of the band. It
immediately received an unexpected positive feedback from the critic that prompted the band to set
live concerts from all over northern Italy.

On October 2014 the band signed a promotion and booking deal with Ronin Agency that
contributed to reach a remarkable interest in the music scene, in Italy and abroad as well.

During the first months of 2015 the band toured northern Italy, while working on a number of new
songs to be recorded for the first official EP.

And so it was, on March 2015 Atlas Pain recorded "Behind The Front Page”, with the help of
Davide Tavecchia from Twilight Studio (Holy Shire, Cidodici) and Maurizio Giannotti of
Newmastering Studio (Afterhours, Punkreas, Drakkar).

The EP was released on 18th May, accompanied by the lyric video of the first single "Each Uisge"
and followed by dozens of stunning reviews.

The band recorded its first album “What The Oak Left” at the Media Factory Studio – Italy, mixed
and produced by Fabrizio Romani (Skylark) and mastered by Mika Jussila from Finnvox
(Nightwish, Children Of Bodom). The cover was created by Darkgrove (Manowar, Korpiklaani).
On July the band signed a deal with the legendary italian label Scarlet Records, planning a
worldwide distribution (Nuclear Blast Webstore, Season Of Mist and many more).
“What The Oak Left” gained stunning reviews from all over the world, reaching the #172 position
in the italian iTunes metal chart.

The song “To The Moon” has been chosen by Spotify for the “Folk Metal Warriors” playlist,
reaching more than 100’000 streams on the platform.

For fans of Equilibrium, Wintersun, Ensiferum, Hans Zimmer, John Williams.
