Chaotic Sanity, a Finnish Progressive Doom Metal band, has released their 2nd EP ”Worship” through Saarni Records on Friday 13th, December 2019. Chaotic Sanity was formed in the spring of 2017 and the first EP ”Mental Portrait” was released via Saarni Records in summer 2018.
"Worship" is a dystopian story about the dawn of perdition. It’s a dire omen about how this fractal life as we know it, shall be perished. A morbid manifestation of the hatred, lingering within men. The sound is dynamical and diverse. A dark and heavy collaboration of guitar-riffs with versatile; gruesome vocalizing and singing, that conducts the mass of composition.
The Album consists layers of gloomy low-tones and simple; almost primitive drum rhythms that unify; to command its listener into the atmosphere of netherworld. The style is a variation of traditional doom-metal with a hint of modern metal-music’s technique’s and approachability. Experimental mixture, influenced by the richness of these genres.
This is what emerges; when a group of very different people, with different musical backgrounds create music together without caring of anyone’s opinion of their sound or style. Ars Gratia Ars Inspired by melancholy, "Worship" is all about the chancing of seasons; constant death and rebirth. Lyrically it’s a story of a cycle... coming to its ending.

Chaotic Sanity was born from the union of two; Santeri Kangasmetsä (Night of Suicide) and Joni Rossi (Bloody Heathen). The mixture is influenced by old-school prog, doom-metal and stoner. It is a collaboration of rage and melody composed mainly by: Kangasmetsä and the lyrics emerge from the mind of Rossi. Together they started to make an EP that brake all the boundaries that are familiar to the genre.
Markus Heinonen: the founder of Saarni Music joined forces with the band on their first release. Heinonen Produces and does the vocals. The first EP is entitled: “Mental Portrait” which focuses the darkest parts in human mind that nobody dares to talk about.
