DEIMLER to Release new album 'A Thousand Suns' on October 19th

Spanish Death Metal band DEIMLER will release their new album "A Thousand Suns" on October 19th, through Xtreem Music on CD, 12"LP, Cassette and Digital formats.

The origin of DEIMLER dates back to 1998, dissolving in 2002 until in 2018 it was reactivated through one of its founding members, Pako Deimler (Funëdeim) on guitar/vocals, who is also active in bands such as FAMISHGOD, DIMENSSION, ITNUVETH and several more. The band's debut EP "Zeron One" was released in 2020 through the Chinese label Awakening Rec. and had an excellent reception in the underground scene with its style of heavy and brutal yet melodic and catchy Death Metal with strong roots in the sound of the Finnish and Swedish schools of the late '80s and early '90s with influences from bands like DEMILICH, CARNAGE, ADRAMELECH, DISMEMBER, AVULSED, FUNEBRE, NECROPHILIAC, ENTOMBED, CARTILAGE, DEATH, OBITUARY, GRAVE...

During the first half of 2021, DEIMLER has been working on the recording of their first full-length "A Thousand Suns", which was recorded and mastered at Moontower Studios and with cover artwork by José Vives.

DEIMLER is a musical offering to the Gods of Death, all agreed and executed to exist on a plane parallel to reality, a world outside of the dream, more fictional than real and more real than death itself.

DEIMLER bases its lyrics and themes on a dimension created and self-imposed from a universe between two worlds, the real and the fictional, “Zero One” wasthe first release, a5-songmini-CD released in April 2020 through Chineselabel Awakening Records. Insummer 2021, DEMILER signed to Xtreem Musicand now they present “A Thousand Suns” afull-lengthalbum with 9 new songs, to be release next October.

DEIMLER brings us an Old School Death Metal, based on the bands that forged this beautiful musical genrelike DEMILICH, CARNAGE, ADRAMELECH, DISMEMBER, AVULSED, FUNEBRE, NECROPHILIAC, ENTOMBED, CARTILAGE, DEATH, OBITUARY or GRAVE, among other influences.

The musicians who give life to DEIMLER are veterans in the scene of their land, they come from Cáceres(Spain), and have decided to go one step further before succumbing to musical innocence, being DEIMLERthe first Death Metal band from Cáceres, that we know of, they have joined forces with strengthand enthusiasm to create something like DEIMLER, and here is the result.

“A Thousand Suns” has been mixed, produced and mastered at Moontower Studiosby Javi Félez. Guitars, bass and vocals have been recorded at the Hell House Studiosin Cáceres. Drums have been recorded at Moontower Studiosby Gabriel Artina. This work has been composed and written between May 2020 and April 2021
