Dyscarnate album2017

Death metal trio Dyscarnate are staking their claim to death metal supremacy with new album With All Their Might on Unique Leader. It’s powerful death metal that maintains a strong groove throughout, as you’ll hear (and see) in the new video for “Iron Strengthens Iron.”

As Dyscarnate explain, With All Their Might is their most mature record to date.

“With All Their Might is the sound of us nailing our colors to the mast in no uncertain terms,” they state. “We’ve always worked on each new album as its own entity, and feel the whole thing needs to flow as one cohesive piece. Every song has its place on the record, but the lyrics and feel of each one reflects a signature theme. We feel that while this record is the most complete thing we’ve ever done, it’s also the most varied, dynamic, and evolved we have ever been. We have written this album for only ourselves, and as a result feel we have something our fans will really connect to. Dyscarnate is now split between Shropshire, Sussex, and Amsterdam, which has meant this record has been written and recorded in a wide variety of locations. For the last two weeks of writing, we set ourselves up in a secluded farmhouse just over the Welsh border, where we worked non-stop putting the finishing touches to the demos, as well as tracking all the vocals ourselves. Inspiration has come from everywhere on the musical spectrum and beyond. We didn’t want to work within any kind of parameters, and tried things we wouldn’t have gone near in the past. Song and lyric concepts have included, among many others: existential dread, insanity, human perception, and strength of will.”

You can hear With All Their Might when the record drops on September 15, but you can check out the new video and pre-order now.

Biography

Cited as “one of the best death metal albums to come out of the UK in the last twenty years” by Metal Hammer’s Dom Lawson, Dyscarnate’s devastating new record ‘And So It Came To Pass’ has been met with an unprecedented reaction from both international press and fans. Like the 300 Spartans, Dyscarnate show what effect a small, but elite force can have when focused on a common goal; annihilating everything that stands before them. In 2012, the band will do just that, bringing their blitzkrieg of a live show across the face of the earth; leaving smoking craters and shell-shocked audiences where stages once stood.

Following the release of the debut EP ‘Annihilate to Liberate’ in 2008, Dyscarnate were met with overwhelming feedback from national magazines, record labels and fans alike. This resulted in a multi-album deal with the UK’s Siege Of Amida Records, which provided the band with the perfect platform to release their debut full-length album 'Enduring The Massacre', which asserted them as “the best new death metal band in the UK, without question”, according to the British press.

Having toured extensively and internationally with such high profile names as Cephalic Carnage, Psycroptic, Despised Icon and The Black Dahlia Murder, the band then decided to follow up the success of their debut album, losing no time as they composed their uncompromising sophomore effort, injecting even more catchiness into their highly infectious strain of brutality. The new record which was
recorded once again at Foel Studios with Chris Fielding, and mixed and mastered in Denmark by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Destruction, Xerath, Trigger The Bloodshed) is a far more mature, varied offering, and officially asserts Dyscarnate as luminaries of the new wave of british death metal on the worldwide extreme music scene.

Three men. One purpose. One sound.

Always outnumbered, never outgunned.
