FIRES IN THE DISTANCE live at Telefunken Studio

Following the runaway success of their debut album, Echoes From Deep November, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE have today released a live performance of The Climb. Ushering in a line-up change with their new drummer, Jordan Rippe, the band got together in early November at Telefunken Studio, CT to film a live performance of the album in its entirety at the studio's Soundstage. Filmed by Patrick Fallon and produced by Dave Kaminsky, the set itself perfectly captures FIRES IN THE DISTANCE’s blend of melodic death metal and doom atmospherics. The Climb is the first song from the session to be released, with the rest of the performance to be released at a later date.

Of the experience, the band comments, "To have the opportunity to play live again was exhilarating for all of us! We were all on cloud nine for weeks after the shoot which is a testament to how deeply we miss live shows. The Telefunken Soundstage is beautiful and it was an absolute pleasure to play and record in such an amazing studio. We look forward to sharing it with you all."

In a year that has seen FIRES IN THE DISTANCE
enter Billboard's Current Hard Music Albums chart at #59 and at #117 for Top New Artist Albums, Echoes From Deep November is a six track opus of pensive melodic doom with macabre flourishes throughout.
