BIOGRAPHY
Flames At Sunrise has been on stage since 2011, working on their single and personal vision of what music means to them. Always beside their eclectic style, they try to break down what’s pre-established in metal world through sound experimentation.
In 2014 they released their first EP under the title "Never Coming Home", an album full of rage and a very direct message: riot. After this, it came their first videoclips "Never Coming Home", "Take It Down" and "Bitch" and a lot of gigs that made them travel throughout Catalonia in a quest to take their message beyond.
After a few years of effort and experimentation, their first LP came out, "Born in Embers", where the band establishes its bases and finds, based on experimentation, a language where they feel comfortable. This album starts from what’s introspective in them, with lyrics and sounds that are born directly from their way of understanding the world.
"Born in Embers" has three videoclips; "III Faces", "Ark Flesh" and "Dolmen". The first one was proposed by Metal Español as one of the best videoclips of 2017 and right now it has more than 100.000 views. "Dolmen" is presented as an innovation in the world of music videos, offering an interactive ending that connects with the other two videos, as a link that closes the introspective universe of "Born in Embers".
Currently Flames At Sunrise have finished their "Kaw KawKaw" tour, which has taken them to different places of Spain and France, and right now they’re fully immersed in the composition of their new work, something that promises to break again with the pre-established and unite their rabid beginnings with a deep critique, based on introspection and appropriation of the great questions of humanity.
