Norwegian Black Metallers GRAVDAL have signed to Soulseller Records!
The band’s new and third full-length album "Kadaverin" will be released on 11th August 2017 in different formats (CD, vinyl, digital).
"Kadaverin" was recorded and mixed in Mackwerk studio by Lord Bård and mastered by Herbrand Larsen at Conclave & Earshot studios. It features guest appearances from members of Satyricon, Taake, SAHG, The Ruins Of Beverast, Seven Impale and Orkan and lyrics written by V'gandr (Helheim, Taake).

Biography
Gravdal from Bergen, Norway was formed in 2005.
The bands primus motor, and main composer Phobos wanted to express himself as a guitar player/composer, as he is originally a drummer (Aeternus, Gorgoroth live).
He started Gravdal with drummer Taakesjel, mainly as a studio band.
After Galge joined the band as a vocalist the same year, they recorded their demo "Massegrav". Being hungry for more, Gravdal recruited guitarist Specter and Bass player Dauden. With a complete lineup the band started doing live shows, and got signed to Unexploded records And released their debut album "Sadist" in 2008.
Shortly after the release, Dauden leaves the band, and Phobos takes care of the bass guitar when recording their second album "Torturmantra"(2010).
With a guest appearance by Shining`s Niklas Kvarforth on the song "Mishandlet" and the best of reviews. Gravdal does their first European tour with Gorgoroth and Keep of Kalessin to promote the album. Gravdal also appears on the biggest festivals in Norway at the time : Hole in the sky and Inferno.
In 2012 Phobos starts to make music for their third album. The bands guitarist and composer Specter and vocalist Galge leaves the band.
In 2015/2016 Gravdal enters the studio to record "Kadaverin"
Saur (Dominanz) joins as the bands guitarist and ELD (Krakow, Aeternus, Gaahls Wyrd) as the bands vocalist and bass player.
The album features guest appearances from members of Satyricon, Taake, SAHG, The ruins of beverast, Seven impale and Orkan.
And lyrics are being written by V`gandr from Helheim and Taake.
In 2016 Gravdal does their first live shows since 2011 with a new lineup at Blastfest and Beyond the gates. And sign a record deal with Soulseller records, to release their new album in 2017.
Gravdal is a band whose music is firmly rooted in the ethos of the black metal genre, both in terms of writing and performance. However, what sets Gravdal apart from so many of today`s bands is not only the ability, but also the desire of its members to innovate and continuously test their own musical boundaries in order to achieve a sounds that is distinctly their own.
