INFECTED HUMANS to release 'Unexpected Traumatic Experiences' in January
| Written by Edvardsen | Hits: 230
There is a new voice on the worldwide brutal death metal scene, a new guttural roar emanating from the Ecuadorian city of Cuenca. Infected Humans bring their own warped take on the heaviest of all metal’s many sub- genres and bastard children. These devoted servants of extremity are going to put their home country firmly on the death metal map when they unleash the maniacal, addictive insanity of Unexpected Traumatic Experiences!
You’ll find everything you’d expect from a brutal death metal album forming the bedrock of the songs that make up Unexpected Traumatic Experiences, but you’ll find an array of wicked twists as well. Songs like ‘Interstellar Torture’ epitomise the memorable, individual nature of Infected Humans’ particular brand of sonic savagery and album highlight ‘Chaotic Biological Organization’ satisfies and surprises in equal measure, with its hammering blast beats interspersed with bursts of the band’s very own brand of electroshock therapy. The album also includes three notable guest vocal contributions, with Ewan Lambert (Corpseflesh), Sonny Trujillo (Cadaverous Infest) and Pipo Castellanos (Cafeterasub) each bringing their own touch of terror to this dynamic and deadly debut.

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO
Our minds are sodden sponges, steeped in the countless horrors of the world. Each day we stare through a thousand windows onto a myriad of unbearable atrocities, drinking in the blood, absorbing the screams. A torrent of twisted messages slide into our consciousness, redefining our morality, shifting our boundaries and sculpting our limits with oily caresses, luring us to transition from sanity to sickness. All it takes to become a monster is an alignment of moments, a coalescing of circumstances to leave the accumulated filth leaking into our eyes and mouths like gore and brain matter slopping from a shattered skull. Each day, each night, we walk the margins between good and evil, redemption and damnation and our cumulative choices lead us to either reach out and help, or reach out and kill.
Infected Humans hail from the historic Ecuadorian city of Cuenca and their debut album, Unexpected Traumatic Experiences delivers nine tales from the dark side of those margins, housed between an unsettling intro and haunting outro. The Infected Humans sound is a unique take on the brutal death metal genre, one that inserts truly unexpected twists into the breaths between rabid blast beats. From the bizarre and unpredictable elements of ‘Chaotic Biological Organization’ to the unnervingly melodic guitar lines that glide through the darkness of ‘Altered By Substances’ Unexpected Traumatic Experiences combines everything you would expect from a brutal death metal album with touches of exotic magic that shock and ensnare. Even the devastating drumming and inhuman vocals seem to carry with them an aura of something different, a vicious sharpness that cuts to the bone. Songs like ‘Interstellar Torture’ will not be forgotten when the initial impact subsides and this is one album of severe brutality that will keep you crawling back for more.
Unexpected Traumatic Experiences features three guest vocal appearances, with Ewan Lambert (Corpseflesh), Sonny Trujillo (Cadaverous Infest) and Pipo Castellanos of Ecuadorian underground heroes Cafeterasub adding their insane influences to this already gloriously demented album. The infamous Gore House Productions will unleash the synapse incinerating madness of Infected Humans on the world on January 15th and the impact will leave us all teetering on a tightrope over the abyss.
