Heavy Metallers IRONFLAME have premiered another song from their upcoming new album "Worlds To Conquer", out on August 14th 2026 via High Roller Records.
A video clip for the track "Dynasties Fall" can be seen below:
Since the 1980s, Cleveland has always been a fertile breeding ground for great heavy metal music. Ohio-based Andrew Della Cagna continues this tradition in true style. Over the past years, the multi-instrumentalist has been active in more than half a dozen bands, among them Brimstone Coven and Icarus Witch. His main priority, however, is his own project IRONFLAME, for which he writes the music, lyrics, handles all the instruments and sings. Originally formed in 2016, IRONFLAME have released five full-length records to great critical acclaim and outstanding fan reactions.
Multi-instrumentalist Andrew Della Cagna comments: "Like all IRONFLAME albums, 'Worlds To Conquer' was recorded at my modest home studio in Ohio. The music was recorded in 2023, the lyrics in 2024 and the solos in 2025. As usual, I performed all the music and vocals myself. My live guitarists, Quinn and Jesse, composed and recorded their own guitar solos. I also handled the mixing and mastering process myself this time."

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO

Ironflame is an American traditional heavy metal band from Ohio, founded in 2016 by multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Andrew D'Cagna. Originally conceived as a solo project, Ironflame quickly evolved into one of the leading acts in the modern New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) movement, earning acclaim for its epic songwriting, memorable melodies, and unwavering dedication to classic heavy metal.
Andrew D'Cagna, previously known for his work with Brimstone Coven, writes and records the majority of Ironflame's material himself while collaborating with a revolving cast of talented musicians for vocals and live performances. His vision combines the heroic spirit of 1980s heavy metal with a modern production style, resulting in music that is both nostalgic and fresh.
Ironflame made its debut with Lightning Strikes the Crown (2017), introducing a sound rooted in classic American heavy metal. The follow-up, Tales of Splendor and Sorrow (2018), expanded the band's epic and fantasy-inspired songwriting, while Blood Red Victory (2020) further established Ironflame as one of the standout bands in the contemporary traditional metal scene.
The band's fourth studio album, Where Madness Dwells (2022), showcased a darker and more refined approach, balancing galloping riffs, soaring melodies, and powerful choruses. In 2023, Ironflame released Compendium, a collection featuring newly recorded versions of earlier material alongside new songs, serving as both a retrospective and a celebration of the band's evolution.
With Kingdom Torn Asunder (2024), Ironflame continued to build upon its reputation for crafting anthemic heavy metal filled with fantasy themes, tales of heroism, and triumphant musicianship. The album received praise from fans of traditional heavy metal for its strong songwriting and authentic spirit.
Musically, Ironflame draws inspiration from legendary bands such as Manilla Road, Omen, Jag Panzer, Virgin Steele, Riot, Iron Maiden, and Cirith Ungol. Their sound blends powerful riffing, melodic guitar harmonies, epic storytelling, and memorable choruses, making them a favorite among fans of classic and modern heavy metal alike.
Over the years, Ironflame has become one of the most respected names in the NWOTHM movement, consistently delivering high-quality albums that honor the traditions of classic heavy metal while forging a distinct identity of their own. Through Andrew D'Cagna's passion and dedication, Ironflame continues to keep the flame of epic heavy metal burning brightly for a new generation of listeners.
