Welcome to the world of Lipshok where magic is real, traveling to alternate dimensions is possible, the wind carries messages for the future, and mythical creatures roam the earth. This is their newest CD Shadows Of A Dark Heart in a nutshell. This music will take you away from reality and bring you a new reality. The songs are intense and compelling with rich stories and incredible harmonies and haunting melodies.
The music is gothic hard rock, symphonic metal, and alternative combined. You will be transported to another world listening to Looking Glass, an update on Alice and Wonderland, And So He’ll Fly the story of Icarus and his deadly mistake, Alive Once More the musings of a vampire, and Answer The Call a political take on people seeking help in a tough year. Along with those songs is Without A Flame, Revenge, Unknown and Don’t Fear Defeat continuing to tell the fables.
All the songs are written by vocalist/keyboardist Scarlett Dark. Along with Scarlett is Massimiliano Maggiari on guitar, Phil Jameson on bass and Joe Londeree on drums.

LIPSHOK is an original gothic rock/metal act out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Highly unique, Scarlett, the female lead vocalist/songwriter/keyboardist performs from the center of the stage live and leads the band with haunting melodic vocals and incredible songs with commercial hooks and mesmerizing compositions.
Dynamic chord changes and with fantastic harmonies, LIPSHOK is a band that lets your soul travel to another reality, alternate dimensions, and magical realms. With a CD, "The Soul of a Broken Mind" out and a new video to the number 1 track, "Path of Stone", LIPSHOK is on the way to success.
And with the newest CD "To Haunt a Quiet Realm" out November 2016, nothing can stop them. LIPSHOK is experienced and professional, with a varied background. For many years, LIPSHOK was a corporate dance/party band and even played at Santa Rita Jail 13 times as well as the Dublin Federal Penn twice!
Needless to say, everyone loves a captive audience! Then in 2009, they returned the original scene, released a CD in 2010, "In Darkness, Light", and then another CD at the end of 2013, "The Soul of a Broken Mind". And now "To Haunt a Quiet Realm" to be released on Sliptrick Records for european distribution.
