The underground is about to get a lot louder. Today, Madvice officially unleashes their new full-length, "L’Ottavo Giorno", an album that marks a definitive turning point for the band and a wake-up call for the global extreme metal scene.
Stepping away from the shadows, Madvice has crafted a record that perfectly balances the surgical precision of Melodic Death Metal with the grit of Blackened Thrash. "L’Ottavo Giorno" (The Eighth Day) thrives on a dark, Mediterranean atmosphere, weaving together razor-sharp riffs and a pervasive sense of dread that never lets up.
From blistering tempos to suffocatingly heavy passages, the band has stripped away the excess to deliver their most honest and fierce work to date. It is the sound of a band that has found its pulse and is ready to strike.

Tracklist:
1. The Ecstasy of Dying
2. The Legacy of the Serpent God
3. The Damnation Between Birth and Death
4. Eternally I Rise
5. L'Ottavo Giorno
6. Not Dead Enough (to Feel no Pain)
7. Fossa Lupara
If you are looking for extreme music that feels dangerous, atmospheric, and authentic, your search ends here.

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO

Formed in Pisa, Italy in 2016, Madvice is a melodic death metal band known for combining aggressive riffing, dark atmospheres, and melodic Scandinavian-inspired songwriting. Their sound blends elements of classic Gothenburg melodic death metal with touches of black metal and thrash, creating a powerful and modern approach to the genre.
The band quickly gained attention in the Italian underground metal scene through energetic live performances and a strong DIY attitude. After releasing several singles and promotional tracks, Madvice debuted with the full-length album Everything Comes to an End in 2018, showcasing fast riffs, melodic guitar work, and harsh vocals influenced by both old-school and modern melodic death metal acts.
In 2022, the band released their second album, Under the Burning Sky, which marked a darker and heavier evolution in their sound. The album expanded their musical direction with more atmospheric songwriting and socially themed lyrics while maintaining the melodic aggression that defines the band.
Madvice continues to build a reputation within the European underground metal scene through independent releases, online promotion, and live appearances alongside other extreme metal acts.
