The Austrian Grind-Machine MASTIC SCUM strikes back with a new output entiteled 'DEFY'. In collaboration with the Grindheads HEAD CLEANER from Greece a split 7' EP with new tracks from both bands will be released via Screaming Victims Records. MASTIC SCUM just announced a new line-up with Wolfgang Rothbauer (Thirdmoon, In Slumber, GodHateCode) in spring 2017 and entered Grindlab Studio in summer to record three brand new songs for this release.
On 'DEFY', the band continues their unique style, combining Death Metal with Grindcore, spiked with industrial samples. Like on their last album 'CTRL' the new tracks guarantee a high technical level and a modern and powerful sound production. Remarkable guitar riffs, massive grooves turning into brutal blastbeats and intense, aggressive vocals define the soundwall of MASTIC SCUM.
The 3 tracks of 'DEFY' were mixed and mastered by Mike Kronstorfer at Metalforge Studio, the artwork was done by Headsplit Design.
