Pagan/celtic metal band MaterDea and Rockshots Records are thrilled to announce the reissued version of the highly acclaimed album 'A Rose for Egeria' in Deluxe Edition!
The album includes a brand new version of the hit song 'The Green Man' (from the album 'Satyricon'), totally re-recorded at Domus Janas studios and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Children of Bodom, etc) at Finnvox Studios.
A video of the title-track 'A Rose for Egeria' is available below:
'A Rose for Egeria' is the third album of the Italian band MaterDea, characterized by a new musical expression and a more powerful sound, enriched by technical refinements although maintaining the flourished melodies which MaterDea' s audience is already accustomed to. MaterDea was born out of the collaboration between Simon Papa and Marco Strega in 2008. Since the release of their first album they created a band with a strong rock structure perfectly blending mystical and dreaming atmospheres. Here, the voices, the fiddle and the keyboards graciously draw melodic lines upon the powerful rhythmic session.
