The release date of the new MORTICIAN album "Shout For Heavy Metal" on CD is November 14th 2014. The preorder phase will start on October 31st 2014 in Pure Steel webshop.
Since many years MORTICIAN from Vorarlberg / Austria got a cult status in their own country. The three track album "No war" from 1987 (rerelease via Pure Steel with Bonustracks in 2009) is a highly on demand collector’s item. The second album was released in 2011 by Pure Underground Records after more than 20 years. Now we proudly present the third strike "Shout for Heavy Metal".
Pure Heavy Metal with some up-tempo and small thrash influences, but generally 80s sound without compromise including riffs reminding us of the best moments of ACCEPT and SAXON. This is combined with a dynamic production. The nine new songs are real "Heavy Metal". The rough vocals from Daniel Khan fit perfectly and you will be excited from the heavy drums. German Metal fans will like this a lot of course, but anyone who is into "Pure Steel" should listen to "Shout For Heavy Metal" as well!
