MY OWN WILL band

Michigan brutalists MY OWN WILL have shared the newest track off their upcoming EP, Misery. "Rorshach" marks the third and final single before next week's release.

"'Rorschach' is lyrically directed at grifters: a type of person that preaches something they don’t truly believe in. Someone who fakes who they are for validation from others while carrying themselves in direct opposition to what they claim they are about," comments vocalist Dave Keoppen. "Society is full of snake oil salesmen, and in my head I wanted to call the song 'Failing the Rorschach Test,' as both a direct nod to The Acacia Strain’s song 'Passing the Pencil Test,' while also making a tongue-in-cheek joke about how these types would fail a test that is essentially not based on a pass or fail scale. This song is confronting the topic head on, illustrating how someone who lives by what they stand for can combat this type of emotional parasite. Sonically I believe this is the most My Own Will-esque track on the EP, the most like what we have done before but with everything cranked to eleven."

Slam Worldwide has given exclusive premiere to the official music video for "Rorschach." Watch the video now below:
