Following their first European tour and the critically acclaimed 2018 EP "The Crypts Below", US Death Metallers SENTIENT HORROR return with their sophomore full-length entitled "Morbid Realms"!

The album will be released on November 29th, 2019 via Testimony Records (Europe) and Redefining Darkness Records (USA).

Juanjo Castellano Rosado, who created the outstanding cover for the EP, was enlisted again to bring "Morbid Realms" to life with his stunning work, while Dan Swanö (Unisound Studios) was in charge of the mix and mastering duties.

The opening track and first single, "Call of Ancient Gods", is streaming now below:

Founder, vocalist and lead guitarist Matt Moliti states: "Through the writing process, 'Morbid Realms' became a much more serious, angry, mature, and aggressive sounding album than our debut, 'Ungodly Forms'. I wanted to recall the unexpected song arrangements and more complicated structures of the classic early 90s death metal albums. Lyrically, the album incorporates more otherworldly horror, inspired by authors like Clive Barker and HP Lovecraft."

BIOGRAPHY

Sentient Horror is a death metal band from New Jersey formed in 2014 by guitarist/vocalist Matt Moliti (ex-Dark Empire). The vision behind Sentience is to play classic early 90’s style SweDeath with a strong emphasis on great songwriting and musicianship.

Don’t let the location of origin fool you, Sentience’s new demo “Beyond the Curse of Death” is so authentic, it led Swedish Death Metal mastermind Dan Swanö (ex-Edge of Sanity, ex-Bloodbath) to remark "One of the best SweDeath projects I have come across in the last 20 years. The perfect blend of all the highlights from the Swedish scene from 89 to 91. Truly awesome!"

“Beyond the Curse of Death” was recorded in January and February in Matt’s home studio in Woodland Park, NJ and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios in Örebro, Sweden.
