SIMPLEFAST Release New Lyrics Video For 'Tension'

Greek metal group Simplefast have released a new lyrics video taken from their recent album release Eternal. The track is called Tension and here’s what the band had to say about it; “Tension is a song for the awakening and liberation of the human mind. A really unique track with both distorted and clean guitar riffs, melodies and fast-growly vocals with groovy drum and bass parts.”

Eternal is the second full-length album release from the Greek metal band, Simplefast and set for release worldwide via Sliptrick Records on February 21st. After 3 years since their last release Apocalypse, Simplefast have returned with heavier and faster songs and a world-class production. The album is also the first work to feature the new singer in the group Yiannis Voulgaropoulos.

The 8 tracks which make up Eternal are ideal for heavy metal and thrash metal listeners, moreover they combine elements for a more modern metal sound. These are characterized by melodic and growly vocals with groovy drums and bass and a guitar duo, with smashing riffs, sharp solos and melodies filling the space. In their humble opinion, Simplefast consider the album, the “Magnum Opus” of the band.

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO

Simplefast is a Metal band from Athens,Greece. They were formed in late 2011.

They have played until now as a support act to some well-known bands such as the American metal band Defeater and to the Greek metal bands Bio-Cancer, Chronosphere, Exarsis and Sonata Antartika.

They have performed many lives and headline shows at clubs and in many open air and indoor festivals in Europe.

Simplefast in 2014 self-released their first EP Album,entitled “CURSED” (consisted of 6 tracks) and in 2015 was re-released through AMAdea Music.

On May 19, 2017 they released their second, 10-track album “Apocalypse” through AMAdea Music as a worldwide release, which 1 month later became the best seller metal album of the label.

From May 2017 till May 2018, Simplefast performed around Central Europe, Balcans and Greece as part of the “Apocalypse Over Europe Tour”.

In 2018, they were signed by Sliptrick Records for a 2-year contract and they are about to release their 3rd and their best one till this moment album, “Eternal” on February 21st, 2020 as a worldwide physical and digital release and on March 3rd, 2020, a deluxe edition of this album with 3 bonus track edits. “Eternal” is going to be their first work with their new singer, Yiannis Voulgaropoulos.

On February 2020, they won the Akademia Music Award for Best Heavy Metal album category, for their release of “Eternal”!
