SINSID returns with second album 'Enter the Gates'

Norway’s old school metal outfit SINSID returns with second album “Enter the Gates”, out on September 18.
Originally formed in 2012, SINSID’s influences include anything from the blues and rock to metal and Viking or thrash but the very core of the band is, unmistakably, traditional heavy metal. The band’s debut came out in 2018 and “Mission From Hell” triumphantly introduced SINSID to the metal world and quickly gained the band a massive new following, with reviews referring to the album as “good old, honest, working class metal” and “couldn’t be more metal if it was hammered over an anvil!”
The band now continues its... mission, as it prepares to unleash its next offering which is yet another fine release of pure old school heavy metal! All the elements that one can expect are there; from the catchy choruses and fist-raising anthemic tunes to the raw hellish vocals and of course that nostalgic 80s vibe throughout!
“Enter the Gates” is out on September 18, on CD and Digital as well as Vinyl. The Vinyl edition will come out in a special orange vinyl and will be limited to 100 numbered copies with each copy also including a download code. The song “Fighting with Fire” is now available for streaming and free download at www.pitchblackrecords.com while its corresponding lyric video has just been released on the band’s YouTube page.

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO
SINSID hails from the west coast of Norway and was founded in 2012 by the lead vocalist and main lyric writer Terje Singh Sidhu.
Terje’s passion from early on was always professional wrestling and rock music. In 1998 Terje wanted to give wrestling a shot and travelled to California, US. There he was trained at the School of Hard Knocks run by Jesse Hernandez and Bill Anderson. After a 8 month training period and a few Indy shows, Terje moved back home where he continued to wrestle across Scandinavia and became the first ever NWF champion. Final match was in 2012.
In 2005 Terje was offered to join as lead vocalist and lyric writer in a metal band called Zeno Morf, which resulted in one self-entitled album in mid 2008. By the end of 2009 Terje took a break from music and decided to leave the band.
After a few years of feeling the urge to continue with music, Terje formed SINSID (combining the 3 first letters in his middle and last name) in 2012. Originally, SINSID was formed as a cover band only without any commitments, but eventually transformed into their own and started creating original music early 2015. Plagued by numerous line-up changes, Terje was now determined to move forward with his band SINSID to hit the studio and record their own material.
From November 2017 to January 2018, SINSID recorded their first 10 track studio album titled Mission From Hell. This was recorded and produced by Frode Glesnes (Studio Borealis) and mastered by Jaime Gomez (Orgone Studios). The Album was then picked up and released thru Pitch Black Records on June 8th 2018.
Mission From Hell was met with great reviews! And that certainly fueled SINSID to keep it going and followed up with live shows across Norway to promote the album.
Most of 2019 was focused on creating new music were by January 2020 SINSID returned to the studio again for their 2nd full length album. The 2nd album is titled Enter The Gates and will be released on PBR in September 2020!
The idea for the warrior in their artwork is half Sikh and half Viking.
