The Vicious Head Society is an Irish progressive metal project founded in 2010 by guitarist, songwriter, and producer Graham Keane in County Clare, Ireland. Conceived primarily as a creative vehicle for Keane’s ambitious musical vision, the project blends progressive metal with technical precision, cinematic atmospheres, melodic depth, and emotionally driven songwriting.

Originally established as a studio-based endeavor, The Vicious Head Society quickly distinguished itself through its sophisticated compositions and the involvement of renowned guest musicians from across the international metal scene. Over the years, Keane has collaborated with acclaimed artists including keyboard virtuoso Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Sons of Apollo, Black Country Communion), legendary drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Chimaira), and numerous vocalists and instrumentalists who have helped bring his expansive compositions to life. Despite these collaborations, the project has always remained centered around Keane’s songwriting and artistic direction.

The band's debut album, Abject Tomorrow (2017), introduced listeners to an intricate blend of progressive, technical, and melodic metal.
