Traumatomy announces their fourth full‑length album, "Ascension Of The Ineffable," due out on October 30th, 2026 via Gore House Productions. After two years of work, the upcoming record is their rawest, sharpest, and most brutal offering yet, elevated by the distinctive production of Konstantin Ogarkov, whose approach brought a uniquely savage edge to the album’s sound.
This next offering delivers a faster, rawer, and even more brutal evolution of Traumatomy’s sound while keeping their familiar lyrical themes intact. Each track highlights a different facet of their extremity. "Entropic Obliteration" sets the tone with full-force brutality, "Pervigilium of the Obsolesced Xenolith" pushes speed and blast beats to the limit, and "Endoneural Parasitosis" leans into sickening breakdowns. "Repugnant Coalescence" stands out as the drummer’s most balanced pick, while the title track "Ascension Of The Ineffable" embodies the album’s concept and atmosphere. "Visceral Maceration" brings groove-heavy slam energy, "Autognathic Avulsion" blends grooves, blasts, and atmosphere, and "Xeno‑Homeostasis" closes the record with a perfectly structured finale. The cover art, created by legendary artist Jon Zig, captures the exact atmosphere and cosmic horror the band envisioned. As Traumatomy put it: SLAM IS THE ONLY WAY!
The first single to be unleashed, “Visceral Maceration”, was written specifically for fans of true slamming brutal death metal.
"This may be the most groovy heavy track on the record and shows that we can find a different approach to composing and structuring music," adds guitarist Constantine.
Listen to “Visceral Maceration”:
Formed in 2012 by guitarist and main songwriter Constantine Chevardin (Disfigurement Of Flesh, Nauseating, Morphogenetic Malformation) and Haruka Kamiyama (ex‑Gorevent / Medic Vomiting Pus), Traumatomy quickly became a cult force in the brutal death metal underground. Their 2013 debut "Transcendental Evisceration of Necrogenetic Beasts" established their reputation for slammy, primitive, crushing extremity. Between 2012 and 2018, they released two albums and three EPs before evolving into a full touring band with the addition of bassist Leonid (Cephalic Impurity) and drummer Ivan.
Known for coordinated, intense performances and a relentless commitment to monolithic slam, Traumatomy continues to push their sound into increasingly brutal, higher‑quality territory with every release. Lyrically inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and criminal TV shows, and musically driven by riffs, beer, and cosmic horror.

BIOGRAPHY/LOGO

Traumatomy is an international slamming brutal death metal band formed in November 2012 by Russian guitarist Constantine Chevardin and Japanese vocalist Haruka Kamiyama. Built around the collaboration between musicians separated by thousands of kilometres, the project quickly established itself within the underground slam and brutal death metal scene through an uncompromising combination of crushing grooves, guttural vocals and relentlessly heavy riffing.
The band's first substantial release was the EP Transformation into a Putrid Mass in 2013, followed later that year by their debut full-length album, Transcendental Evisceration of Necrogenetic Beasts. These early recordings established the basic Traumatomy formula: massive downtuned guitar work, brutal rhythmic shifts, prominent slam sections and Kamiyama's extremely guttural vocal delivery.
Traumatomy continued their development with the 2014 EP Beneficial Amputation of Excessive Limbs, before releasing their second full-length, Monolith of Absolute Suffering, in 2015. The album further cemented the band's reputation within the international slamming brutal death metal underground and demonstrated a heavier and more refined version of the sound established on their debut.
Initially operating primarily as an international studio project, Traumatomy gradually developed into a functioning live band. Bassist Boris Kosov and drummer Alexey Belov joined the live configuration toward the end of 2017, allowing the band to bring its material to European stages. The same period produced Embodiment of Excruciation in 2017, another EP that continued the band's focus on dense, groove-driven brutality.
After several years without a new full-length, Traumatomy returned in 2021 with their third album, Extirpation Paradigms. The record featured the long-standing core of Constantine Chevardin and Haruka Kamiyama alongside bassist Boris Kosov and drummer Alexey Belov, while Kirill Zarubin contributed additional vocals. The album also featured a guest appearance from Josh Welshman of Defeated Sanity. With improved production and an abundance of punishing slam passages, Extirpation Paradigms represented one of the band's most polished recordings while retaining the deliberately grotesque heaviness of their earlier work.
Another chapter followed with the EP Triumph of Enslavement in July 2024. Recorded with Chevardin, Kamiyama, bassist Bogdan Pisavnin and drummer Ivan Salo, with additional vocals from Kirill Zarubin, the release demonstrated that Traumatomy's fundamental approach remained intact more than a decade after the band's formation.
Throughout their career, Traumatomy have become a recognizable name in the international slam scene. Their music draws heavily from the most extreme end of brutal death metal, emphasizing extremely low guttural vocals, downtuned guitars, violent rhythmic changes and enormous breakdown-like slam riffs. Rather than substantially moving away from their original formula, the band has continually refined it, producing an increasingly powerful and polished interpretation of slamming brutal death metal.
With members and collaborators originating from Russia and Japan and a history that began as a long-distance studio project before expanding into live performances, Traumatomy remain an example of the international nature of the modern brutal death metal underground.
