DIAMOND DAWN Overdrive

DIAMOND DAWN is a new band consisting of young musicians from Gothenburg, Sweden, but their music is by no means typical for that region of Scandinavia. DIAMOND DAWN is all about melodic rock, or AOR if you like, with pompous and melodic, but yet hard rocking songs. ´Overdrive´is surrounded by a positive and fresh atmosphere which is something you hardly everr hear these days. These guys doesn´t bring anything new to this genre and most of the rock cliché´s can be found in their music, but still there is something about the bands attitude and abilities that makes it interesting anyway. Most of the songs are og high standard, with good melodies, strong vocals and catchy choruses. At times DIAMOND DAWN reminds me a bit of Tyketto, and that´s definitely a quality stamp. Check out this one if you´re a fan of melodic rock.
